BIMM Album launched to raise money for charity
The BIMM album entitled ‘What’s Inside Your Head? Volume Three’ includes 14 of the colleges’ best new talent with all proceeds going to Nordoff Robbins, a professional music therapy centre for adults and children with a wide range of needs in the UK and abroad.
The tracks were chosen by a music industry A&R panel which includes Felix Howard – Head of A&R at EMI Publishing and a successful songwriter in his own right. EMI Music Publishing are currently sponsoring BIMM’s songwriting degree course at BIMM Brighton. Since BIMM launched in 2001, the college has released an album each year – 8 albums to date. The talented musicians have been involved in the back stage scenes of making the album including preparing and recording their tracks in the studio, learning about the production process and handling media interviews
The official launch took part at the Great Escape Festival in Brighton with acts from the album performing live on stage at the Pavilion Tavern.
