Debut single ‘When Tonight Kicks’ coming soon.

On the back of early demos alone, Riot Riot have secured credible support with Steve Lamacq (Radio 1) and Kerrang! radio (Unsigned show). Skunk Anansie’s Ace claimed the band were ‘going down a storm, storm, STORM!’ when they did a recent session for Juice FM. Loosely describing themselves as The Who meets Dead Kennedy’s serves more as a tribute to their heroes rather than a suitable description of Riot Riot’s music, as it stops short of explaining why they are currently the very contemporary soundtrack to Brighton’s alternative party scene.

The band are currently on tour - check out the gig section for more details.

A 10 minute guitar epic!

The Disciples Of Shred EP showcases the talent of current and past BIMM (Brighton Institute Of Modern Music) guitarists. All guitars were played by BIMM students with the exception of the opening solo by the awesome Pat ‘the shred’ Heath (BIMM lecturer). The piece is truly epic at just over 10 minutes long, and moves through different shred styles demonstrating immense technique, speed and general guitar mayhem.

All proceeds from this recording will be donated to the Nordoff Robbins Charity.

Dom Parry - Guitar

Debut single ‘You Suck’ released on the 25th August 2008.

Catapult are a Brighton based, new wave, post punk three piece with savvy pop songs, angular guitar riffs and quirky hooks. Taking influence from the likes of Gang Of Four, The Cure, The Clash and Squeeze, the band have been stedily building a sold army of fans around the UK over the last six months, including a slot at the Great Escape Festival and a forthcoming performance at Brighton’s Beachdown Festival.

Originally from Skegness, Sam and Seb moved to Brighton where they met up with Dom Parry on their first day at college down the pub! Dominic Parry aged just 17 delivers cool and sophisticated bass lines, Sebastian Skillings aged 20 thrashes and trashes the kit, whilst Samuel Thopre also aged 20, sings about the things you do on a Saturday night.

The band are currently on tour - check out the gig section for details.
